Who we are
Nova People Consulting is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, please contact us at hello@novapeoples.com.
Information we collect
We collect personal information in two ways: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically when you use our website.
Information you provide directly
When you use the Start a Conversation form on our website, you may provide:
- Your full name
- Your organisation name
- Your role or job title (optional)
- Your email address
- Your telephone number (optional)
- A description of the challenge or enquiry you wish to discuss
- Your preferred timescale and conversation format (optional selections)
When you submit this form, your information is transmitted securely to our email delivery service (Resend) and delivered to our team. This information is used solely to understand and respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any marketing list or share this information with third parties for their own purposes.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, certain technical information is collected automatically through Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service provided by Vercel Inc. This may include:
- Pages visited and the order in which you visit them
- The website or search engine that referred you to our site
- The country from which you are visiting (derived from your IP address)
- The type of device, operating system and browser you are using
Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not create a persistent identifier for individual visitors. The information it collects is aggregated and used to help us understand how our website is used so we can improve it. Your IP address is processed by Vercel’s servers to derive approximate geographic location but is not stored by us.
Our website fonts (Inter and Geist Mono) are loaded from our own servers at build time and do not cause your browser to make requests to third-party font providers.
How we use personal information
We use personal information we collect to:
- Respond to enquiries submitted through our contact form

- Maintain the security and performance of our website
We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not send unsolicited marketing communications.
Lawful bases for processing
We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR when processing personal information:
- Legitimate interests — for website analytics that help us understand and improve our site, and for following up on enquiries you have initiated with us.
- Contract — where processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering a services arrangement.
Who information may be shared with

- Resend — our transactional email delivery service, used to deliver enquiry submissions to our team.
- Vercel Inc. — our website hosting provider and analytics service. Vercel processes web traffic data on our behalf.

All service providers are required to process personal information only in accordance with our instructions and applicable data protection law.
We may also disclose personal information where required by law, court order or regulatory authority.
International transfers
Some of our service providers, including Vercel and Sanity, process data on servers outside the UK and European Economic Area. Where this occurs, transfers are made subject to appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we retain information
We retain contact enquiry information for as long as necessary to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, and for a reasonable period thereafter. Aggregated website analytics data is retained in accordance with Vercel’s standard data retention practices.
If you would like us to delete personal information we hold about you, please contact us using the details below.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Our website is served over HTTPS. We use reputable hosting and infrastructure providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
